A Year in Review at My School Connect

2019 has been a record-breaking year for My School Connect and we couldn’t have done it without the schools, parents, staff and children that make up the My School Connect community.

We wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on the year that has been, so sit back, grab a cup of tea and get ready to enjoy the ride that was 2019 (thus far!) 

In 2019, we hit a record number of orders through the use of My School Connect in schools Australia-wide. The hundreds of thousands of orders through our system this year are a testament to how My School Connect has changed the game for so many busy parents and school staff alike. Along with these orders, tens of thousands of dollars were raised for fundraising initiatives in schools via our Chip-in feature! An amazing feat that has meant so many schools have been able to gain extra funding to ensure that the future of Australian children is even bigger and brighter for the years to come. 

We also welcomed an abundance of new schools, from different levels, sectors and states within our nation. Working with each new school closely, it was amazing to see how easily each school community transitioned to My School Connect, whether migrating from another provider, or transitioning from offline to online. The positive response we have received from the My School Connect community has been nothing short of amazing, and provided the perfect end to close out yet another successful year.

Upgrading the security within the My School Connect system has been a primary focus for us in 2019, as we aimed to ensure the complete safety and security of every My School Connect user. e. We have strengthened our fraud prevention and intrusion detection systems and added a dedicated security audit staff member to the team. We are committed to the safety of our users and of our business, and will be continuing the evolution of our security infrastructure in 2020.

All in all, 2019 has been an AMAZING year! We have some exciting things planned for 2020, so stay tuned for more exciting updates in the new year.
