For the past several years, the Year 5 students have been in charge of organising our annual ‘Walk for Cambodia’ event. For those new to the school, Walk for Cambodia has become a bit of a tradition where we raise funds for various projects in collaboration with ALWS (Australian Lutheran World Service).

This year, we are raising money to build a much-needed spillway for the small village of Manaskal, Cambodia. The villagers decided a spillway will help them with irrigation of their rice fields and to divert water flow, which always causes flood damage to their main road every year.

On the day students commit to walking laps of the courts to raise money for our village.  They will seek donations or sponsorship per lap.
